French Dating

I've come to notice that the culture here is a little bit different when it comes to dating and finding someone. For the men the most common way to try to hit on a girl is to shout from car windows and doors and offer for a ride. Umm.. Seriously how many girls would jump on a car of an unknown person who's shouting like that... Uuuh ok gotta admit that I actually did it once BUT this was a guy working for transportations, in a uniform, in a working car, so I kind of trusted that he's only offering the ride for good will cuz it was raining hard and I was wearing high heels and a frock and carrying a lot of stuff with me...  And he was, he wasn't even asking any questions about me or anything, he took me to metro station and that was it. Also one of my friends here had taken a ride like that once when she was lost. But everyone knows it's not wise thing to do and only in an emergencies...

The second most common way I would say is to ask number on a street. Like you just pass by someone and stop her and "hey can I get your phone number?".. "--- Ummm Hell No U Cant !! "...  This happened to me in a bus, in a swimming hall, on a street for many many many times and my roommate also told me the same thing. Maybe we're just so damn good-looking ; D  No, seriously, I think it's different here... Never in Finland, by doing that u create the image of being a pathetic loser. And that's what they are... Asking number without talking anything first, no no no...

Also I logged on to this page where u can chat with everybody, just to learn french on freetime. So I've accepted some people also to my msn messenger and... Some of the girls' hit-on ways seem to be: sending nude pictures and poems ?!?! Yes !! I've received pictures of girls genital-areas and tits, asses, Ok this was only one person who did all this but i must say: very tacky !! No no no.. Slutty, cheap pictures, please do not send these anymore !!... And hmmm one girl has been writing me poems and Im really not a fan of poetry in any way... So thank you miss, U can write as much as you can but i'll never warm up for something like that !! So that much for chatting, apparently you cannot chat here without having any thoughts of finding a sex partner.

And why is the alcohol so cheap here, poor me !!! : D Crazy-partying !! Everytime i go to a grocery store and if the total amount is under 10 euros, I have to buy a bottle of vodka just to make it +10e, so that I'll be able to pay by card... Ok i dont HAVE TO buy just vodka, but why are the bottles behind the cashier so that it's the only thing that comes into your mind if you have to think quick what more to buy... Erasmus= alcohol, i try not to keep it that way but... there are just parties after one another...

Our personal finance teacher sent us an e-mail after one friday morning, i wasn't present and I don't know who was: " Remember that you can have fun on thursday evenings, but don't enjoy yourselves too much !! "...   But the surprise comes here:  The reason why I was absent from the class wasn't partying/ drinking alcohol/ hangover, it was a GYM CLASS, muscle training that I absolutely wanted to attend  !!! So i was a good girl, my arms are hurting now but maybe it's a sign that the muscles are growing ;D I'm healthier than the others, Yeii !! (:
